Top 30 Brands In Japan

I've always been into advertising. Even before I thought I wanted to be a writer, I was a pre-teen who wanted to be the next Darrin Stephens and work in the Advertising business with my hot, witchie wife (the scenario of the 1960s television show Bewitched) or to be the next Doug Young and have a ditzy, hot blonde wife named Tracy (The scenario of the 1970 daily comedy The Trouble With Tracy - whom some have dubbed the wost TV sitcom ever, but I liked it).

Apparently when I was eight, I liked blondes.

Anyhow, I did want to write advertising copy, and as such, I have long been interested in which brands are bigger than others.

Thanks to the folks at Interbrand, they have compiled a list of Japan's best global brands of 2014… which is based on data culled from 2013.

Here they are, in order of brand value (US dollars). As well, the column involving the change in Brand Value denotes a change between the 2014 value and the 2013 value (which would be based on data from 2012). Got it?
