Japan Men's Soccer Team Finishes 4th In Olympics

South Korea defeated Japan's Men's soccer team in the 3rd place game by a score of 2-0 at the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Not a game for the ages - except perhaps for the plucky South Koreans who seemed to dominate the whole match leaving Japan a lone chance for a goal in the 87th minute. Still, full marks and a hearty congratulations to South Korea on their Bronze medal and abetter luck next time to Japan.

It was still Japan's best showing since 1968 in Mexico City when Japan won the Bronze. But, to be perfectly honest.... South Korea's Bronze medal is worth far more to the South Koreans than to Japan.

With the medal, the members of the South Korean team have earned an exemption from any military duty.

Story HERE from a Fox News feed.

The Men's final takes place on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10AM in London's famed Wembley Stadium between Brazil and Mexico, two tough teams with perhaps the Brazilians having more skill.... but do they have the heart of the Mexicans?
