Bob Fletcher - True American and Japanese Hero

Her's a very good story about a very decent man who died recently, at the age of 101.

Meet Bob Fletcher... an American... who during WWII, quit his job to look after the farms of other Americans who were put in prison because they weren't American enough.

I'm talking about American's of Japanese descent - Japanese-Americans, if I must call them that - who were unfairly placed in internship camps by the USA (Canada did it, too!) simply because The U.S. was at war with their former country, Japan.

I don't believe the same thing happened with regard to the Germans or Italians.... I'm just saying, is all.

Anyhow... please read about Fletcher's story in the New York Times article HERE.
